Lending like a Pro

List for free

Login and complete your RentStuff profile. List a rental by uploading photos, naming a price, setting item availability & security deposit amount, and other details.

Confirm

Answer renter inquiries using the onsite messaging system. Once you receive a reservation request, go ahead and accept, negotiate or decline it.

Lend

Contact your renter directly to confirm pick-up details. Help the renter with any important information regarding the rental item and agree that everything is exactly as described in your posting. You'll be paid upon confirmation of item pick-up by the renter when they confirm using SMS text messaging or through RentStuff.com.

Close Rental

When your item is returned, verify that it is in acceptable condition, close the transaction via SMS text message or on RentStuff.com, shake hands and lend again! Be sure to get a good review from the renter!

Find your rental

Use the search page to find a rental. Enter the item you need and browse your matches. Message lenders with any question through the onsite messaging system.

Reserve it!

After you verify your account, enter your credit card information and click Reserve It! A lender will accept your request, at that point contact information, the address of the pick-up location and other important information will be final and shared.

Pick-up & Return

Get your pick-up details immediately upon lender confirmation of your request. Contact your lender to confirm pick-up details. Meet the lender, confirm via SMS text message or through RentStuff.com that the item was received and you want to send payment. After the rental is over, close the transaction via SMS text messages or RentStuff.com and be sure to share your experience by leaving a review.
